High Temperature Cables

MAKCON specializes in the field of High Temperature application Cables, giving the widest range of numerous types of insulation and sheath materials depending upon the temperature and other critical environment conditions. These high temperature cables are ideally suitable for blast furnaces, coke ovens, steel melting shops, foundaries, sponge iron plants, cement, hot rolling mills, boilers, thermal power plants etc. The range includes from conventional ceramic fibre glass yarn insulated cables to the latest FEP, Kapton, Sintered Teflon® (PTFE) & Mineral Insulated (MI) Cables.

Heat Resistant high temperature cables are used as power cables in plants where there is high temperature environment and ordinary PVC cables cannot be used such as rotary kilns, furnaces, boilers etc.

HR cables can be designed to work at temperatures as high as 800˚C. Apart from PTFE insulation, high temperature materials like FG and glass mica are used effectively to increase the working temperature of the cable where required. Stainless Steel braid armouring is provided to increase durability and mechanical strength of the cable.
